Network Security
Network Infrastructure
S & W understands that security and information managment are inseparable. It's their experience in network infrastructure and software support that allows them to guide you through the entire experience of establishing your company'entire network - from design to implemenation.
Defining the network scope
For most of our new clients, it is discovered that they have no network diagram or topology. It is very difficult to troubleshoot connectivity issues or any type of network issue without something that displays the IP Addresses, IP routes, firewalls, switches, etc.
For most first-time network design and implementation projects, the action item is working with you on creating a physical network topology for your records. This is referenced as version 1, inclusive of all devices, the location of these devices, cable installation and everything that your network is comprised of at this initial step.
After version 1 is complete, we create a version 2 network diagram inclusive of our agreed upon design based on your network needs expressed in the initial consultation.
Exploring the network design options
We understand that it is overwhelming when presented with all the possibilities for network design. This is why we act as network design consultants to help guide you in the selection process. We have vast experience in IT services and network security so that we are able to sift through all of the options for you.
Should you opt for network interface cards, NIC, with or without physical switch support, and if so, should you also have support for active and stand-by NICs. Don’t forget, there’s also the option for virtual local area network server, or VLAN in order to minimize the number of routers. So many methods require many research hours. Because S & W is already familiar with the network design components, we are able to save you the research time and advise you on the optimal selections.
Testing the Network Installation
S & W Microsystems works diligently to meet your deployment schedule. During the framework layout phase, we identify the possible installation challenges we anticipate. This is a very important step to help you complete your network implementation project on time and within budget. We oversee complete installation, testing and commissioning of your network in order to meet projected turn-around. The testing installation phase is so important in order to ensure that all network operations are running efficiently for deployment.
Training for Network Management
Most of the businesses who count on us for network design and implementation don’t have the personnel designated for us to train to manage the network interface. In those cases, we serve as the support center to monitor and manage. This is an example of how you can outsource IT services to S & W.
