North Lake to Rock Creek backpack in August of 2007. Greg and 2 other adults and Jeff and 3 other scouts hiked 59 miles, over 3 passes, Piute, Seldon and Mono, all under georgeous weather in 6 days. Great trip again this year!
Backpack trip from Agnew Meadow (near Mammoth Mountain and Devils Postpile) to Yosemite Valley in August of 2006. Greg and Jeff along with 2 other adults and 5 other Scouts hiked for 7 days and covered 50 miles. They did a side trip to the top of Half Dome before descending into Yosemite Valley.
2005 National Scout Jamboree, Caroline County, Virginia. Jeff attended with the LA Area Council Troop 941 and I went as Staff for the Western Region Action Center Archery Range.
Backpack trip to Mt. Whitney, August of 2005. We started at Onion Valley and came out at Horseshoe Meadow, 8 days and 70 miles later.
South lake to North Lake backpack trip in the summer of 2004. 8 Scouts and 5 dads, we covered 60 miles in 7 days.
